Happy Thanksgiving!!

Another wonderful Thanksgiving! I think this year was the most delicious meal ever at Maw Maw's! And of course the company was even better this year because the family had grown even bigger! We can't wait to see you all at Christmas again! We love you all!

Monday night we had Granddaddy and Grandmama over for Thanksgiving dinner. We had a wonderful time! We had so much fun and so much leftover, we took it down to their house Tuesday night. We also got some yummy milkshakes in return! (Thank you Granddaddy!! You make the very BEST!) We missed Pat, Brandi and the kids! Wish y'all could have been with us!

Lily Grace loves to play (bang) the piano at both Grandparents' houses! I wonder if they like it as much as she does?

She also liked rolling in Grandmama's computer chair!

Funny Girl

Lily Grace LOVES to color or as she says, "Color-er-er-er-er". (It is the cutest thing!) We love when she lays on the floor to color. She looks so precious and like a big girl, which also makes me sad. When she noticed I was taking pictures of her, she turned around and started showing off. These are just some pictures of her making some funny faces.

Which Will It Be?

HA, HA! Whoever wins, I hope you all have a wonderful day on Saturday and are good sports!

Sunday we had lunch with the Deavours family for Thanksgiving. We had a delicious meal and lots of fun! Lily Grace is just old enough now to go play with the girls. It was too cute and a little more relaxing for Marty and me! McKenzie and Cate are such good little "babysitters"!

Holley's Shower

Saturday morning, a bunch of us girls gave Holley a Baby Shower Brunch for her little girl on the way. Holley got so many beautiful little girl things. We are so excited for you Holley and Rodney AND Hudson! We can't wait for Danni Kate to arrive! Girls are so much fun! We love you all!

Tucker is Home

We had a huge scare with Tucker this week. Late Monday night he started vomiting really bad. Kirsten called the doctor and he said to take him to the big DCH emergency room immediately. On their way, Tucker went completely limp and very pale. His lips turned blue. They called 911 and the ambulance met them half way. Tucker came to and started dry heaving again. The doctors and nurses did many tests on him throughout the night and the next morning. He has severe acid reflux. When Tucker was born, he could not keep formula down at all. When Kirsten's milk came in, it agreed with his stomach and he has been doing great drinking it for the last two weeks. (He actually gained 12 ounces! Praise the Lord!) When they did the x-ray on his tummy, they said that most of the milk had been filling up his tummy, just sitting there and finally it "exploded". That was the reason for the extreme vomiting. The reason he stopped breathing was because the milk had closed up his esophagus. He had a great day Tuesday, even after all the tests and poking. (It took over an hour to take blood!!) He is on Zantac now and will have to drink rice cereal in his milk for the next 6 months. We were so excited because we knew it could be much worse.

They thought they would be going home Wednesday morning. But they did more tests on him and his blood count was not right. Also, the duodenum was turned the wrong way. It is the tube that attaches the intestines and stomach. That afternoon they decided to send him to Children's because if it were to break off he would have to have surgery immediately. They also wanted to do more tests. Almost 12 hours later, the helicopter picked Tucker up. He had to ride alone but at least they got him there quick! At 4 am Thursday morning the surgeons said there was a 90% chance Tucker would have surgery. They would have to take his appendix out and fix the duodenum and it would be a major surgery with a long recovery. But with the power of prayer, late that afternoon the surgeons said there was a 10% chance of surgery. Then late last night the surgeon came back around and said they could go home!! GOD is so good! Tucker still has acid reflux which is not fun at all!! But Tucker has been so wonderful through this whole situation. Please continue to pray for our little man and Kirsten. It is so hard to have a sick baby and she is a new mommy. I know this has all been so hard on her but she is being so strong. She needs all the encouragement we can give her. Thank you all for being such wonderful family and friends through this all. We all appreciate it and you all mean so much to us. I hope you all have a blessed weekend and I love each of you dearly.
