We went outside to play with Hogan but he was soaked! It finally rained, yea! We weren't able to get too close or take many pictures with him because he kept wanting to jump on us and get us wet, yucky. There will be many more times to play with our big pup. We are looking foward to a fun weekend! Grandmother and Pop here we come!!!

I forgot to let everyone know about Lily G's doctor's appointment she had Monday. She is a healthy baby girl and everything was great! She weighed 10 lbs & 9 ozs. And she was 23 1/4 inches long. She is getting so big! She had her first shot. I think that I cried more than she did! It was awful. I don't know how I will survive the next doctor's visit, she is getting 5 shots!!!! We are excited that we can get out and go places now since she is a well baby.
Mommy and Lily Grace stay at home most days. When we wake up in the mornings, we play for about an hour or two. She is a morning girl. We always have lots of fun and especially now since Lily Grace is smiling, laughing, and talking (cooing) so much now. She is such a happy baby. We think she would rather play all day in her diaper only. She loves to be free! The rest of the day we eat, sleep, and play some more. Lily G loves to go outside and swing. Now she has a new interest, our dog Hogan! They love each other. She can stare at him forever and he loves to lick her! We really need to take some pics of them together (coming soon!). Yesterday, we were able to get out. We went to Wal-mart and the grocery store by ourselves for the first time. Lily G did great! She loved riding around. Later that evening, she sat in her favorite bouncy seat and watched me cook dinner. She's getting to be a big girl too fast! She is even starting to group all those short naps together and sleeping longer at night. (Not really complaining about that, haha.) Our days together are wonderful and I am so blessed to have a job like I have, a stay at home Mommy with the most precious baby in the world.
Lily Grace loves to take baths. Other than morning time, we think this might be her favorite time of the day. She never wants to get out. In fact, she gets really mad at us when we do take her out! And she thinks it is so funny when we wrap her all up in her towel. We have a lot of fun at night time. Now she falls asleep on her own right after she is all dry and has her bed clothes on. It is great!
We went to spend a weekend in Berry, and we loved it so much we didn't want to leave. We ended up staying twelve days!! We did so many new things with Lily Grace. She attended her first birthday party, visited her friend Tre, visited with the great-grandparents, went to Wal-mart, went out to lunch almost everyday with family, and went to church! It was a busy and fun filled week. I just wish we would have taken a whole lot more pictures!!!
