On August 12th, I had a check up for Cooper and everything looked great! His heart rate was 148 and I am measuring perfect. Now we are going every two weeks for checkups!
Monday afternoon we went to the doctor for the next checkup. I was 32 weeks pregnant and we got to have the 4D ultrasound. I got 43 pictures of our little man!! Way too many to put on here, so I am posting a few of our favorites. They didn't turn out great because he was hiding behind the placenta and the umbilical cord was floating around in front of his face, but we still got a little glimpse of him. It is so amazing what they can do now!
Lily Grace went with Marty and me to see her little brother. She kept saying things like "See his nose", "He's crying", "He's sleeping", "Ewww, gross". Then the nurse would take the picture back to the original ultrasound pictures and when she would bring it back to these pictures LG would say, "Ewww, gross again". It was too funny and she had the nurse cracking up. Remember the video we were seeing was not in black and white but in a brown color and you could see him moving all around. I guess she thought that was gross looking, Ha!
He weighed 4 lbs 15 oz. already! He is very healthy right now. He should have weighed 3.75 lbs, so his weight put him in the 88.4 percentile! His heart rate was 146. His head is down and ready! And he is very low. So with all that said, that is why I have been having so much pressure. I got a new and bigger support belt to wear that is helping me some with that pressure. I can't believe he is due in less than 8 weeks now! It will be here before we know it! We go back again in two weeks. We do that two more times and then it is checkups every week. Wow, does the time fly by!
Okay, enough updates! Here are the pictures!

When we scanned them in, they weren't as clear but you can see it pretty good. The nurse kept saying how beautiful and full his lips were. (That is the placenta in front of his face if you are wondering)
Friday night we headed up to Berry to watch Uncle Skyler play football under the lights. Lily Grace really enjoyed herself, climbing up and down the bleachers. This upcoming Friday night may be a different story because there will be lots more people there! All day long she talked about how she wanted to go play football with Uncle "Skyer" (as she says it). Skyler is a junior this year. It breaks my heart!! We are going to go to as many games as we can until Cooper gets here because he only has one more year left after this one! I just can't believe it!
Saturday morning we started the day off at Houston's 5th Birthday Party. Happy Birthday Houston!! We had a great time! It was a pool party and Lily Grace wanted to get in the "pond"!! She didn't get to get in the water too much because neither Marty or I wanted to get in. Because of that nice cool front that came through, it made the water too cold for us!
Yes, that is right. The first day of school was on Monday, August 10th and the last day was on Wednesday, August 11th. So I am now officially a full time stay at home Mommy!! I was so sad to see the MDO program get shut down for this year. With the economy the way it is right now, we just couldn't keep it running. They would like me to come back next year and reopen it. We will see when that time comes! I will miss it greatly and I know Lily Grace really will as well. She will especially miss all her little friends. I feel this may be a blessing for us with little man coming though! And definitely with all the sickness that is coming and is already here! It had me really worried about bringing a newborn into this world. I am very excited about staying home with my two babies everyday though. Lily Grace and I have really been enjoying each other. We have our morning "lessons", read books, watch her favorite shows, and play, play, play together! (Of course house work and Do It Cute work is in there, too.) It is great to have this opportunity to be home because they grow so fast. I am enjoying it while it lasts!

Today was our first day back to school, MDO. Lily Grace woke up very early this morning, excited and ready to go! She named all her friends from last year she was ready to see. I missed her all day and had to go peek through the window of her classroom door many times. I wish I would have taken more pictures but being the first day, it was very crazy for me! It is good to be back but we sure did have a wonderful summer that I hate has ended. Wow, it flew by so fast. We will still continue to only go on Mondays and Wednesdays this year.
Lily Grace was so proud of her new backpack and her tennis shoes! She showed all her friends and her teacher.
This past week Pop called out of the blue and said, "I miss Lily Grace so much and I am off Friday so I was wondering if I could come get her and she spend the night with us?" Wow! So Pop came and picked her up around lunch time and she hopped in the truck and said, "Bye Mama, Love you!" She was ready to go! Marty and I went up there Saturday afternoon because Pop cooked out for us. She had a great time with, as she always does! Here are some pictures from after we got there.
Lily Grace said, "Ooo, pine cone!" Then she picked it up.....
Saturday was one of my closest friend's in the whole world birthday. So I took her out for dinner and a movie Friday night. We had the best time! Yummy Japanese food and then a very cute movie, Julie and Julia. Happy Birthday Becky! I hope it was a great one for you. You deserve the best! I love you!
