Election 2008 in One Week!

This year's election is very scary and very serious. It is so important that everyone vote and continue to pray for our country. My Mother and I will be out of town so we have already voted through an absentee ballot. I may have already emailed some of you this but I hope you will follow it! It is great passages we all need to read and good prayers we need to be sending to GOD daily. We all need to be praying for the country everyday and in just 7 days there will be a new President. I pray that the right leader will be chosen. All the Christians in this country need to take a stand in what is right! GOD, please be with us through this.

"Ah, Lord God! Behold, Thou hast made the heavens and the earth by Thy great power and by Thine outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for Thee" Jeremiah 32:17

Passy Update

We are still passy FREE! Well, mostly. Some days we go ALL day long without and then other days we need it just to get to sleep. I will stick it in for about one minute, she falls asleep and then I take it out. Hey, that's pretty good considering before she had it almost 24/7 and now she only has about 1 minute a day! Since two Thursdays ago when we took it from her, she has slept every nap and every night without it! Yea! And she goes everyday, all day without it, too. I even think I see her teeth moving back together a little. I cannot believe how great she has done with this! I just knew the nights and days were going to be awful without it, but she has done wonderful! I know it is because of all the prayers and thank you all for that! Hopefully soon she will not even need the passy to fall asleep. Also, since she stopped taking her bottle a while back, I was continuing to give her one bottle in the evening to make sure she was getting enough milk everyday. We got rid of that, too! I guess we are on a roll! What's next? I guess potty training will be soon enough! HA!

Here are some pictures of Lily Grace giving her baby doll the doll's passy. She loves to climb up into this particular chair and hold, rock and take care of her baby. It is so sweet!

Uncle Skyler's Party

Saturday night we went to Skyler's birthday party. We had a great time! He did, too! He got an awesome truck and his beautiful girlfriend came, too. He was very happy! :)
Skyler, I am so happy for you and proud to have you as my brother! I LOVE YOU!

Skyler's new truck

He took us for a drive. Very good driver but still has gotten the chance to go get his driver's licence. It was raining last Friday when he went, so maybe he will get it this Friday.

Skyler and Kaylee, his beautiful and very sweet girlfriend. She lives 2 hours away :(
Lots of candles to blow out Skyler!
You can tell he is growing up when he gets an electric razor and gas money from us!! HA!

Patrick, Brandi and the kids came down to the Grandparents' house for a visit Saturday. We were so excited to get to see them! We had a great time as always.

It is so nice to see Lily Grace and Braiden playing together. They are precious! We wish we could see them all every week!

Night at the Burnett's

This past Friday night we went for our "monthly gathering" with the Burnett's. This month was at their house and we had a blast! But I think Lily Grace and Weston had more fun than anyone!! I really didn't know how they would play together but the LOVED each other! It was so much fun just watching them. I cannot wait until next month! We are truly blessed with wonderful friends in our life.

Lily Grace went straight to Weston's room to play when we arrived. I snuck in there to snap a picture. He was rubbing her face!

How cute are they?

Awwww, how sweet! They rolled around on the couch for the longest time. We were all laughing so hard at them and especially at Marty cause he was so "upset" over Weston being all over Lily Grace. It was hilarious!!
Uh, Oh! We got caught!
Marty is yelling at this point, "Get them off each other!!!!!!!!!"
Glee and Me, she is such a special woman and such an inspiration to me. GOD sent her to me at the most perfect time and I am so thankful for that!
They loved the School Bus! What fun!
Weston still all over Lily Grace!
Taking a break to listen to some stories
Weston knew we were about to leave so he asked Lily Grace, "Wanna go get under the 'povers'?" It too cute. Glee said he cried for twenty minutes after we left for Lily Grace!

Visiting "Aunt" Crystal

Last Wednesday we stopped by "Aunt" Crystal's house on the way to church. We haven't seen her in FOREVER and were really missing her! Lily Grace loved playing with her and the kitties! I got to go out for sushi last night with Crystal and I had lots of fun. It is always great spending time with old and wonderful friends! We love you Crystal and want to see you lots more! And Riley, too!

Bouncy Bouncy

This was the most fun!! I got down Lily Grace's mattress and put it on the floor. We were playing on it and I noticed how bouncy it was. So she sat on one end, then I would jump on the other. The pictures show the results! HILARIOUS!!! She loved it!! Parents, you should try this at home! :)

Fun Evening

We went down to Grandmama and Granddaddy's last night for a little visit. Lily Grace got to feed the horse and ride the four wheeler again. It is always lots of fun at their house! Lily Grace actually gave Stormy a piece of bread!
Riding with Mommy
"Wheeee!"
I don't know how to write out the noise she was making, but you can tell my her mouth! (It's a car noise.)
About to ride around the block!
She never got scared once! I did though!
Drinking Granddaddy's famous milkshake!
She loves doing this!
Mommy got some of the yummy milkshake, too! We can't visit without it! It is the very best!
