We have had a sick family here lately. It all started with Marty about two weeks ago getting all that sinus mess. As soon as he got rid of it, Cooper got it.......then LG.........and now me today. The kids are starting to do better because they have been on 3 prescriptions each since Monday. Cooper is still having a lot of wheezing going on and a snotty nose but we go back in about a week for a recheck. He also has an ear infection. He finally stopped throwing up everything he ate yesterday. He had lost 9 ozs from Monday to Wednesday's appointment. Lily Grace still has a lot of coughing but one great thing - her eczema is looking much better. I took her to an allergist on Monday and he gave her some new prescriptions and remedies to try. They seem to be working for now. I hope they continue to work!! We go in about a week to have allergy tests done. We are hoping to figure out what is causing the eczema. Cooper is actually starting to get some in the same places where LG's started. I sure do hope his never gets as bad as hers. Hopefully we will all be well soon!

This was taken last Wednesday, May 19th, on the way to church. Lily Grace sneezed for real and Cooper thought it was hilarious. She kept doing it over and over for him to get a laugh out of him. We were cracking up!!! There are so many other things that are funny to watch for. For example - LG holding a stick and a big leaf and then for some reason her licking her arm with a slurping noise. Don't know where in the world that came from! Anyway, we got a good laugh and we hope you all enjoy it, too!

Oh my, if only Grandmama Sally could have known LG and LG could have known her. Grandmama would have be crazy over her. It is so funny though because even though LG never got the chance to meet her, she reminds us so much of her in many different ways. But then again, most people say I remind them of Grandmama.
I miss her everyday since she left this world and I can't wait to see her again one day in Heaven with our Lord. I know she is in a much better place than us and I can't wait to be there with her when it is time. This is a hard time though with it being Mother's day, Homecoming at our church - the church she loved so much, the week Pop passed away, and Grandmama's birthday. So we felt it was a good time to place flowers on her grave. LG didn't understand of course but one day I look forward to telling her all about her great Grandmother and what a wonderful woman she was. I know I am a better person just knowing her for twenty years of my life. Not just her but my Pop as well. What two wonderful, christian people that I will continue to look up to, miss and love forever.

We took Granddaddy some supper tonight and visited with him for a while. We think he might be a little lonely because Grandmama is gone to Europe for 17 days!!!! She is on a wonderful trip with a friend. They both retired this past January so they are celebrating! :) Grandmama definitely deserves this trip. We are so happy for her but we do miss her tons. We can't wait to see her when she gets back. Just 10 more days to go! We are counting down. On our way to Granddaddy's house I explained to LG that Grandmama would not be there because she was on a trip. She went on an airplane and went over the big water. LG thought this was neat. She never mentioned anything about it while we were there but then when we started driving away she said, "Grandmama wonders where I at. She needs me. She does need me." It was so sweet.
We are missing you Grandmama so much and look forward to your safe arrival home! You are in our thoughts and prayers daily!! We love you!
We have been trying to get together with the Lee family for a long time now but things just kept getting in our way - trips, sickness, babies being born, etc. We finally got to today! It is safe to say Mykah is LG's best friend. She was her first friend. They were together at MDO from the beginning until the end. They will go to school together, too. There is only a few weeks difference in their age. Anyway, LG has been asking about Mykah for months. Just at random times she will talk about her and ask to see her. Rebecca said Mykah does the same things so we can't keep these girls apart any longer! When we drove up at the playground I could barely get the seat belt off of LG cause she was jumping around so much. They ran to each other and picked up right where they left off. The talked and played nonstop for almost 4 hours! They were so cute together. And now we have boys close to the same age, too!

Cooper went to his first movie today. Actually he has been to one other one when he was about 6 weeks old with me but this is the first one he was old enough to know what was going on. Lily Grace of course loved it. She loves the theater and POPCORN! Cooper did pretty well but he is getting to that age where he moves around a lot so it took Mother, Angie and me passing him back and forth. They were there because Mother took about 30 students out for lunch and a movie to reward them with good behavior. We watched Furry Vengence - cute, very funny movie. I am looking forward to many more movies this summer with the kids. FREE SUMMER MOVIES start in June for 8 weeks, YEA!!! Can't wait!!!

Lily Grace can really crack me up sometimes. I wish I would have wrote down all the funny things she has said in the past because we would have a big funny book! Maybe I can start posting them on here when I remember what they are and if I have time!!
Today she was watching Nick Jr. and I walked through the room and she was pushing buttons on the remote and had a frown on her face. I asked her what was wrong and she said, "I want to turn those ABC's off the tv. I don't like those on there cause I can't see good. Mama turn them off!" I was like, "What are you talking about?" Then she pointed at the television and I realised. You know the tv station logo they sometimes put at the corner of the screen? Yeah, well she doesn't like that on there! HA! Too funny.

Okay, I just had to do it! When I was little, I wore these rollers in my hair just about every night to bed. I wanted to try it on LG and if she didn't want to do it, no big deal! But she was super excited about it. She was thrilled to wear them. She slept all night in them and they didn't cause one bit of problem. They ended up curling her hair pretty good. She doesn't have near the amount of curl my hair did though - thank goodness!!! I have been curling her hair with a curling iron before we went places the past few weeks but the curls would not stay in very long. So we tried this and it did beautifully!

Cooper got his first tooth today! It is the front, right, bottom tooth. (Does that make sense?) And there is another one about to come through. He really hasn't had a lot of problems with teething. But he does love for you to rub those gums! He is such a sweet child. I couldn't ask for a better baby.
