Our trip to the beach last week was such a blast! The only bad thing about the trip was that Daddy wasn't there with us. We missed him so much. Lily Grace was the best baby ever! She slept the entire way to the beach and all the way back! And she slept every night all night long!!! It was such a blessing, it helped Mommy out so much. The amazing thing was that she never cried once while we were there. We can't figure it out but we've joked around that we might need to move to the beach because as soon as we got back she has cried a few times and she went back to waking up once during the night. She seemed to love the beach, the warm air, the sand and especially the pool. She would kick her legs and arms just like she was wanting to swim. Grandmommy has got to build that swimming pool soon!! We really did have a whole lot of fun but this is the whitest I have ever came home from the beach. I wasn't able to spend a whole lot of time in the sun because Lily G couldn't. We can't wait to go back with Daddy. Lily Grace was a true beach babe!

The first night at the beach we took Lily G out for the first time. She loved the sand on her toes. She seemed to be so excited.
















The next morning we went out to the beach and Lily Grace fell asleep in my arms on the walk! She slept for a while so Mommy could get a little sun. She did wake up to play for a little bit- until eating time! And we wrote Daddy a little note in the sand.

We took some pretty pictures on the beach our last night, but of course Lily G was snoozing most of the time!

Lily Grace is going to be a little fishy. She really acted like she knew what she as doing! It was so cute, thank goodness we videoed it!

Today Lily Grace is 2 months old! We cannot believe how fast two months of our little girl's life has flown by, it makes me want to cry! She is getting so big and getting more and more of her own precious personality. She is such a happy baby (most of the time) and laughs more everyday. She has been on a really good routine for a few weeks now. She goes to sleep around ten then wakes up around 5:30 to eat, then back to sleep till about nine. Then she is up for the day to eat and play with a few short naps every now and then. Well that has been the routine until last night when she woke up twice. I don't know why she woke up but we did put her in a new bed so that may have something to do with it. We are praying she will return to her good sleeping habits tonight!

So many people have said she looks older than 2 months. She is a lot more alert and her arms are going everywhere! We think she has discovered them now and her favorite thing to do is rub her eyes and suck on her hand. When she figures it out, we think she will be a thumb sucker. She is so strong! She likes to stand on her legs, she may be an early walker. And she loves to hear herself talk (coo), it is too cute. She loves attention, loves being talked to, loves to snuggle and loves to be held. She might be spoiled just a little, she won't even lay down for very long without a little fussing. But as soon as she is picked up, she is happy again. We were told you couldn't spoil them at this age but we are thinking that wasn't the truth.

We are starting to get out more and we think she is starting to get used to it. Yesterday we took our first trip to the mall with Grandmommy and Maw Maw. We had a really good time buying some outfits for the beach. Then this morning at church she loved Sunday school class and sat through the entire church service. Well except for during the Lord's Supper when it was really quiet and she pooped really loud! We did have to get up then to change her diaper. It was a little embarrassing but funny too.

The past two months have been a wonderful experience and Lily Grace is such a blessing to our family. We feel we are the luckiest parents in the world and can't wait for the months to come. We are leaving for the beach tomorrow until Friday so it will be a little while for a new update but when we get back I'm sure there will be lots of pictures to see! We are excited about our first beach trip!!

Yesterday we went to the pond at Granddaddy and Grandmama's house for the afternoon. It was great weather and a great time to get Lily Grace and Hogan out. We think Lily G will be a country girl for sure because she loves to be outside. We had so much fun visiting with the grandparents and watching Hogan run around. Hogan loved the water but still won't jump in off of the pier. He had no problem jumping out of the back of the truck going down the road though. He is a little banged up but will be okay. We are looking foward to going back to the pond soon!

Today Lily Grace's first cousin Madilyn and Grandmama came to visit us. Madilyn was such a big girl holding LG. She was practicing for new baby brother on the way. She is going to be such a great big sister! Lily Grace sure did love her cousin and can't wait to see her soon.

Yesterday was Lily Grace's first 4th of July and we had a blast! We went to the lake with our family and friends. Lily G was so good! She played with her new friend Tre. They were so cute together! It made such a precious video and pictures. All her little cousins loved her and she loved them! We stayed until that night to watch the firework show and Lily loved it. She wouldn't take her eyes of the sky! It was a very long day but we had a wonderful first 4th of July together. Next year maybe we will be able to swim!

We wanted to wish a happy and safe 4th of July to everyone!! We are headed to the lake to spend the day with our family. It will be Lily G's first trip! Im sure we will have tons of pictures soon. Have a fun and blessed day! We love you all!

We just can't believe you are turning 18 today! WOW! And it's crazy you are going to start college in one month! We are excited that you will be at Bama and be closer to us. Today is our second wedding anniversary and here are a few pictures to help us remember that beautiful day. It has been two wonderful years, the best two years of our lives. Now with the new little addition to our family we know every year is just going to keep getting better and better!

We were so excited to return to our church at Northport Church of Christ. We have missed everyone so much there! It was great to see everyone again and to let Lily Grace meet them all. Lily G wasn't as good as last Sunday at Cleveland but she still did pretty well. We did have to get up and go to the nursery this morning after about twenty minutes because she wanted to fight sleep! But tonight she slept through the entire service and we didn't have to get up once! We are paying for it now though because it is 11 o'clock and she is still not asleep!
After church this morning we went back to Grandmother's house to eat lunch and spend the afternoon with the family. She said she would cook lunch for us every Sunday so she can see Lily Grace!!! We love it because we finally get an afternoon nap! We had a great day and it was wonderful to see all our friends at church!

We took Lily Grace to Tokyo for her first time! We went out for Aunt KirKir's birthday. It was not the best experience. The first thirty minutes was great but the restaurant was so hot and Lily G became very unhappy. We all had to take turns walking her outside because it was actually cooler outside. Then we had our first bad car ride home. She usually loves to ride in the car but this time she was hungry and very tired. We ended up having to pull over on the side of the road to feed her. It was a crazy night but she did sleep till 5 o'clock the next morning so that was nice! Hopefully the next trip to Tokyo will be better because that is our most favorite restaurant!!

Saturday we went to Madison's (the little girl in the froggy outfit) Birthday party. All the little kids loved Lily Grace so much. I think there was too much going on for her so she pretty much stayed asleep the whole party. It was good to see everybody from Berry at the party, we had a great time!
