Chuck E Cheese

I did not realize I had these pictures on my computer and I just found them. Thank you Kirsten! When Lily Grace spent the night with Grandmommy a few weekends ago, Grandmommy, MawMaw, and Aunt KirKir took her for her first trip to Chuck E Cheese! I wish I could have been there to experience it because they said it was a lot of fun. She LOVED putting the coins in, taking the tickets out, throwing the balls, and was very scared of Chuck E!

18 Months Old

Saturday Lily Grace turned 18 months old. Wow! She is getting so big and doing something new everyday. She is talking so much more now! It is unbelievable some of the things she says. She will repeat just about anything you say. Some of her favorite phrases are: "Here you go", "Here it is", "Here I am", "There you go", "There it is", you've got the idea! And there are too many words to count that she says! Since the passy has been taken away, her vocabulary has really grown. I love to watch her sit down with a book and will look through it, naming different things on the pages.

She also is really into taking care of baby dolls. She is so sweet with them by feeding, bathing, changing their diapers, and rocking them to sleep while saying, "Rock, Rock". She already has that mother's instinct.

And she loves to "color-er" (as Lily Grace would say). Some other favorite things she does is carry around purses or a backpack and put on make-up with Mommy. She is a little girly girl but still likes to get dirty outside! And she would brush her teeth all day long if we would let her! I hope she continues to want to do this when she gets older!

Lily Grace's sleeping patterns are still not great at this point but we are trying some new things and with lots of patience and prayer, maybe she will be sleeping better soon. She is still precious as can be but a little stinker at the same time. We love her so much and wish she would stop growing so fast!!

Saturday we met with Kim to have her portraits taken. Kim was so patient with Lily Grace even though LG made it very hard to take pictures of her. She was not too excited about getting her pictures made AT ALL!! (Sorry Kim!) Kim did great and got some great shots. You can view her pictures on Kim's website. Password: james1. Thank you Kim for all your hard work!
Before Kim met us we took a few pictures ourselves. Not professional at all, but pictures of our pretty little 18 month old!

Breakfast with Santa

This past Saturday Marty and I took Lily Grace to Merry Market to eat with Santa. She had a blast, ate a huge breakfast and loved sitting by Ty. It was such a great experience and we look forward to it again next year!
There is a 3 year age difference between these two, but they love each other so much!

Thank you Grandmommy for going with us! We had fun with you!

She colored a pretty picture

Santa Time! Talking to Santa and just trying to warm up to him.....
Not so bad yet...she's just clawing me as I let go.....
And there you go!
We just sent a letter to him to let him know what she wanted for Christmas!
She liked the fake elf much better!
Thank you Heather for inviting us! We had so much fun with y'all and fingers crossed, Lily Grace will love Santa more next year!

Tucker's Day 3

We spent a few days with Tucker at Grandmommy's house and had so much fun playing with a little baby! Lily Grace woke up every morning saying, "Tucker, Tucker!" When you ask her do you want to go see Tucker, she gets so excited! She just loves him so much! And she loves to help feed him and do anything else to help. She has really turned into a little helper here lately with a lot of things. She is so proud to have a new little cousin!

Just a picture to show how itty bitty he is. How sweet is he?!

Tucker's Day 2

Last Wednesday I took Lily Grace to MDO for the day while I went to spend the day with Tucker and to help out! Lily Grace loves him so much but isn't too thrilled when I hold him so I got lots of chances to hold him that day! He is SOOOOO Precious! I just love him to death! We even got to go back that evening to spend more time with him before and after church! We can't get enough of him!

Kirsten is such a wonderful Mommy!

A VERY Proud and excited Grandmommy!

Welcome Baby Tucker!

Last Monday night, Lily Grace and I were headed to Montgomery to meet Mother. We were going to stay with her through Wednesday while she was at some conferences. Lily Grace and I arrived around 6:45 that night and we ate at Outback. We just finished eating when Kirsten called around 7:45 and said, "I think my water just broke!" I thought she was kidding because she was only 36 weeks pregnant!! Sure enough, her water had broke. We drove very fast home with hazard lights on until we got to the hospital in Northport. It was a very long night and long morning. After 3 redoses of an epidural, lots of pain, and pushing for about 45 minutes, 19 hours and 10 minutes after her water broke, Tucker came into this world at 2:55 pm. He was beautiful and we all feel in love with him instantly. Kirsten asked me to cut the umbilical cord which was so special to me. He weighed 6 lbs 4 oz and was 19 inches long. What a blessing sent from GOD! Tucker is very healthy and they both were able to go home Thursday. Thank you GOD for taking care of both of them and blessing us with such a sweet gift.

I love you little Sis!
