A Night with Tucker

Saturday after Lily Grace's birthday party, we got to take Tucker home with us!! He even spent the night with us! It was so much fun having him there. We can't wait for him to come back to stay again. We love you little man!

Lily Grace had to climb in the chair with him. She loves him so much. It is like she can't get enough of him. I really do hope it is the same with the new baby brother or sister! She has really gotten this new funny personality. She likes to make funny faces.

Feeding Tucker was lots of fun! Lily Grace always sucked the food straight in but Tucker was so messy! He ended up eating it all but I just had to keep sticking the food back in about three or four times before it finally went down. It was so cute!

Something else Tucker does different from Lily Grace is he MOVES!!! Remember, Lily Grace never crawled or scooted or moved anywhere until she finally started walking sometime after she turned one. Tucker is 6 months old and was scooting all over the place! You can't take your eyes off him for long!

Lily Grace's 2nd Birthday Party

This past Saturday we celebrated Lily Grace's 2nd Birthday Party. It was a wonderful party. It was great to spend some time with family and friends. Lily Grace seemed to have lots of fun! She will turn 2 this upcoming Friday. I can't believe my baby is about to be two years old!! It really breaks my heart. I never knew how fast two years could fly by. Thank you all for coming to the party and celebrating a special event with us. It wouldn't have been the without you there! We love you all.

And Happy Birthday My Love! Mommy and Daddy love you more than you will ever know!!

Grandmommy did a beautiful job on Lily Grace's birthday cake. It was awesome and like always, delicious! Thank you Grandmommy!!

Lily Grace had lots of help from friends opening presents. After the first present she opened, she wasn't too interested in opening the rest because she wanted to play with that toy.

Pinata Time!! The kids really enjoyed hitting it and waiting on all the goodies to come out!

Lily Grace and Danni Kate - It was so sweet of Holley to bring Hudson and Danni Kate to the party. I know it is a long drive, especially by yourself with two little ones! It really meant a lot to us!

These were from two Sundays ago. Lily Grace loves going outside with Pop to do whatever. Her favorite thing every Sunday is to go to feed the fish with him. They had been gone for a really long time so I got a little worried and was going to go check on them and came out to find Lily Grace riding a tricycle.

It was a little hard riding the tricycle for her, so on to the next riding toy!

Popsicle Time

Yesterday afternoon while we were waiting on Daddy to get home from work, we were enjoying the nice weather outside and got a little too hot. I thought it might be a nice treat to eat some Popsicles! She really liked them a lot. She ate the red one so fast, I had to get another one. Daddy got home just in time to see her eat the yellow one. I wish you could hear the way she says Popsicle. It is so cute!

She is counting here. She is doing great counting 1 to 10!

Fun at the Burkhalters

Sunday evening after church we went to our friends the Burkhalter's house for a very yummy dinner. Wesley cooked us some tuna, mahi-mahi, and shrimp along with lots of good sides made by Kim. It was delicious! We had a great time with everyone and went home very full! Thank y'all for having us! We love you guys!

Saturday afternoon when we got home, we took Lily Grace to the playground for a little while. She could stay outside all day long I think! She never wants to go in and it is usually a screaming fit when we do.

Saturday Mother called and said we are on our way to Tuscaloosa, do y'all want to come meet us for lunch? We were planning on spending a Saturday at home all day but we couldn't pass up seeing Grandmommy, MawMaw and Tucker! So we threw some clothes on and headed to T-town. I am so glad we did because we had such a good time. Lily Grace has the funniest personality now and makes us all laugh. She even loves to make Tucker laugh. He just seems to really like spending time with her. They are so sweet together. I hope she loves the new baby as much as she loves him!

Baby Shower for Emma Bess

My dear friend Jenn had her baby shower this past Friday night. It was so nice. Little Emma Bess will have lots of pretty clothes to wear when she gets here! We had a great time, especially Lily Grace. Just take a look at the pictures. She was a mess!

She loved the watermelon, strawberries, grapes, and even then onion/ham cheese ball. She ate so much of it, I thought she would end up with a tummy ache!
