Lily Grace loved the Christmas tree and all the ornaments. She helped us put a few on the tree. Here is hanging an ornament Grandmama James made. Marty's Grandmother made lots of beautiful ornaments. If you go to anyone in the family's house during Christmas time, you will see some hanging on their tree. I think it is wonderful and very special to have them. They make up almost all of our tree.
Lily Grace playing with an ornament. It was hard for her not to take them off the tree. It took her a few days but she learned and did great the rest of the month.
Later I took Lily Grace to the Christmas parade in town. She ate her happy meal and watched the parade. She thought it was great!
Anxiously waiting for the floats to come! Chicken nuggets - her favorite food!
We missed Daddy and Cooper but it was just too cold for Cooper to go.
This was our favorite float because of all the pretty lights.
Sweet Little Man :)

Taking a nap - looks like he was praying, how sweet!

Christmas Dinner

Every year there is a dinner at the Berry Civic Center around Christmas time for the ladies in town. The ladies are to decorate their own table and then sell the tickets to people they want to sit with them. This year Mother and Angie decorated their table. It was the prettiest table there, I think! The singer was amazing and the speaker was great, too. It was a great night. Wish Kendra, Aunt Shelia and Kirsten could have made it. We missed them!

November 27th

The big Auburn vs Alabama day.....and our confused children :)
Later that day. LG loves dressing up and loves accessories!

Thanksgiving Day

November 26, 2009

Thanksgiving Day we went for lunch to Maw Maw and Granddaddy's house. It is always lots of fun and we always have a delicious meal!

We all know how much Granddaddy loves babies, so of course he would be holding Cooper- the newest baby in the family. Cooper loved the attention.
Some of the family waiting on lunch to be ready. The family keeps growing and we are starting to run out of room. We keep telling MawMaw she needs to knock down the wall and expand this room. She says she is too old!! I just don't think of Maw Maw as old :)

It is so hard to take a picture of children! Lily Grace is so "mothering" trying to hold both of them. Look how much LG and Tucker look alike. So many people tell us, even people that don't know us, they look like sister and brother. A girl the other day said they could almost pass as twins. They really do favor a lot with the same hair color, skin tone and some of the same facial features. Then Cooper looks totally different! He is his Daddy's son - definitely!! I think it is wonderful!

Their matching Turkey shirts I did for them.

Visit from Heather and Ty

November 24th

Mrs. Heather and Ty came over to spend the day with us. We had so much fun playing and hanging out all day. Lily Grace just loves Ty so much. And he loves holding Cooper. He is going to be a great big brother. Mrs. Heather's baby is due in just a few weeks. She is having a boy, too - Talon. We can't wait to meet him!

November 22nd, 2009

Daddy and Mother had the Deavours Family over for a Thanksgiving Lunch on the Sunday before Thanksgiving. It was great seeing everyone! And we had a wonderful meal! November and December is always the best time for eating because we have dressing and so many other good dishes! And of course it is a great time because we get to spend more time with family.

Pop and little man
Danni Kate - she is walking everywhere!
Me and Krisha with the twins
The girls love to hold babies. They always have a baby on their hip. I won't let them walk around with Cooper though because he is way too small, even though they really want to!
He wasn't too happy here but McKenzie insisted on holding him.
Tucker's smile will bring a smile to any one's face! He is always so happy and the best kid!
Uncle Skyler and his girlfriend Hannah

It is soooo hard to take a family picture! This is the best we could do this day.
After the Deavours' left, MawMaw and Granddaddy came over for a visit.
Lily Grace and Cooper in their matching Scarecrow shirts I did for them.
Daddy loves this picture. Wonder why?

Visit with Cousins

November 21st

Every chance we get, we want to visit with Mollis and the kids when they come down. They live in Virginia so of course they don't get to come around too often. It was so great to spend the evening with them at Aunt Martha Grace's and Uncle Rick's house. We were excited to see Jay, Kerri and Micah; John T, Rachel, Heidi and the new baby Lucy; and were so happy for Grandmama to ride with us! Wish we could spend more time with each and every one of these people!

All the kids eating together. Will and Parker had built a fort downstairs. Lily Grace loved playing with the boys. She cried and cried when we had to leave.
Cooper did this most of the evening. He woke up once...just to eat and then back to sleep.
Thank you Aunt Martha Grace for having us over. And thank you Mollis for always wanting to get together when you come down. We want to see you guys every time. We miss and love you all!

November 15th

Pat and Brandi and the kids came down to celebrate Granddaddy's birthday. They cooked him a delicious meal. We were so excited to join them for the visit. It was great seeing them all. We miss them very much and wish we could see them more! Lily Grace loves playing with Braiden and loves her girl time with Madi.

Brennon and Madi - I can't believe how much they have grown every time we see them.
Braiden liked seeing the new baby.
The perfect way to end the evening - Grandaddy's wonderful milkshakes!! Oh, how good they are!

November 14th, 15th, and 16th
