11 Months Old

Less than one month and our little baby will be one!!! I cannot believe it! Her personality is growing more and more everyday. She laughs and giggles and will play with you more now. Her little smile will melt your heart. She is such a sweet little girl with little bit of spunk! :) She really is a mess. She makes us so happy, happier than we could have ever thought. She is starting to go to people when they reach for her now and giving Mommy's hip a few breaks! She is so funny and makes us laugh all the time. And she loves attention! She has to be the center of attention all the time and she will talk your ears off to make sure you give it to her! Her smile is precious with those six teeth shinning now and they are too cute. The teeth are helping her eat more and more table food. She ate chicken casserole, green beans, mashed potatoes, and banana pudding with us the other night and loved it. She cleaned her plate! It is still hard for us picking things out for her to eat but she will usually eat anything we give her. She is walking around lots more now as long as one finger is touching something. She has started bending down and picking things up off the floor. It is a funny site to watch. She is getting in to everything and it gets tiring picking up everything after her. She loves to show you things and show you where to go. She points at everything and says "ook, ook". She will point to her toys and say look, look and then when you take her to them, she will pick out the one she wants and squeeze it to give it love. She will just giggle and rock the toy back in forth. It is too sweet! She also now knows where eyes and teeth are on people, stuffed animals and picture books. We are working on the nose but she hasn't figured that out yet. It is just so amazing how much they learn so quickly. She is growing and changing so fast. It won't be long and we will have spent a whole year with the most wonderful thing on earth!!

Packed in Like Sardines!

Monday through Wednesday each week, I keep two little girls in the morning, take them to school with me and then keep them in the afternoon until their Mommy gets off work. I just had to post a picture of all three girls sitting in the back seat. We didn't think all three car seats would fit but if you slam the door really hard they will! I think when we get more kids of our own, we might need a bigger vehicle!!

Today is Grandmommy and Pop's anniversary. They have been married for 29 years!! Wow! They have been in Nashville for the weekend and will return tomorrow. We have missed them so much and can't wait to see them!! Happy Anniversary! We love you both soooo much!!

Spaghetti, Yum Yum!

This afternoon we ate with some friends at church and Lily Grace ate spaghetti noodles with chicken alfredo for the first time and loved it! She even knew how to suck the noodles in, on the first try!! We are doing much better at giving her new things to try. We have been so worried and afraid to give her table food because of choking or worrying about tummy aches but just in the past week she has tried so many new things! She has had American food, Italian, Mexican, and lots of different snacks. I guess next is Chinese! She does so good at chewing and she will eat just about ANYTHING so I don't know what we are so worried about. Table food is just so different from baby food! I am sure there will be lots of new foods to try for the next year or so! So much fun!!

It's getting close!!

Saturday night we went to Krisha and Dan's Tool and Gadget Party at Uncle Steve and Aunt Cheryl's house. We had a lot of fun and it was great to see everyone! They got so many wonderful gifts and I think Krisha is going to make sure Dan puts all that stuff to use! HA! Dan and Krisha, it is getting very close!! LESS THAN A WEEK AWAY!!!!! We are so happy for you and we can't wait to put on our dancing shoes for the BIG night!! We were so happy to see the Davis family! Tre and Lily Grace are really cute together!
In case you have never seen Lily Grace's mean face, here it is!
Uncle Steve tried to hold Lily Grace all night and she finally went to him when he fed her a sugar cookie!
After the party we went to visit the girls for a little bit. Lily Grace didn't know what to think of those silly girls!

Happy Birthday Molly Jane!

Saturday afternoon we went to celebrate Molly Jane Barger's First Birthday. The Bargers are very good friends of ours from church and we are so happy Lily Grace will have such sweet little girls to grow up with! We love y'all and Happy Birthday Molly Jane! We had a great time!

Shopping with Aunt KK

We went shopping with Kendra all day yesterday in Birmingham and had a GREAT time!! We got tons of good sales! We did lose a passy for the first time which was a bad little situation but thank goodness we had an extra in the car!! Lily Grace had an excellent day considering how much we dragged her around shopping. She was so funny talking to Kendra all day. She talked her head off and we laughed a whole lot.

Aunt KK,
It was so great to spend some time with you. We had the best time and hope to do it again very soon! We love you sooooo much!!! Peyton and Lily Grace

Cooking with Mommy

Lily Grace has always loved watching me cook and she loves playing with cooking utensils. Here are a few pictures of us cooking together Sunday night. I hope she will always love cooking with me because that would make me so happy since it is one of my most favorite things to do!

Crystal's First Shower

Sunday was Crystal's first shower and I enjoyed it very much. She got so many nice things and it was great to see everyone there! I am so happy for my "best friend since kindergarten" and I look forward to many more parties and showers until the big day! Riley is getting a good one! I love you Crystal!!

Riley and Crystal, don't they make a sweet couple?!

Lily Grace spent the afternoon at MawMaw and Granddaddy's house. Grandmommy and Uncle Skyler also got to come over and play with her. Marty said they had a great time together and Lily Grace really showed out for them all. Her personality is getting a little stronger everyday!!

A Day With Grandparents

This past Saturday we spend the afternoon with Granddaddy and Grandmama James. We had a great time playing with Grandparents, enjoying the nice weather, fishing, watching Hogan swim, and petting Stormy. It was a lot of fun and we look forward to many summer days at their house!

Lily Grace really wanted the fish! She cried when they threw it back!
Lily Grace still doesn't know what to think about Stormy!
How cute!

This was last Friday afternoon. It finally warmed up outside and we got to play with Hogan and Daddy. I have more pictures to upload from the weekend but I will have to do it later.

Aren't their little feet just too cute!

I think this is the first time she has walked in grass barefoot. I am always afraid of stickers! She did like the way it felt though!

Trying to be a big girl and let go to walk by herself!

Then she falls! We still haven't got the walking by herself perfected yet! She is starting to get braver and braver everyday though!

Sweet kisses from Hogan
I love Daddy!! (Sorry about the power lines. Should have cropped them out!)
Marty was throwing her in the air and she was scared to death!! Look at the look on her face! Marty is really tall so just think how high up she was!
