Trip to Huntsville

A few weeks ago, during Fayette County's Spring Break, we took a little two day trip to North Alabama. On the first day we first stopped in Cullman for a little shopping and to eat at my most favorite restaurant there, Rumors. Yummy! Then we headed to Huntsville to stay at the new Bridge Street Mall. It is amazing! We shopped some more, had dinner, and hung out in the room for the night. The next morning after a good breakfast at Crackle Barrel, we shopped some more and then headed for Hartselle for antique shopping. We made one more stop at a Ross in Fultondale on the way home. We jammed packed a lot of shopping and eating in two days, but it was so much fun!!

Lily Grace loved eating at Rumors and especially loved the geleto ice cream at the end!
She had a messy mouth at the steak house at Bridge Street that evening!

Aunt KirKir and Tucker

After dinner we went to a chocolate shop and ate chocolate covered strawberries. Lily Grace really enjoyed them! She was so mad when hers was gone, but at $4.00 a strawberry, I couldn't get her another one!!

More Seizures

I have been so behind on updating my blog I did not get a chance to post the last seizure Lily Grace had. On February 8th at 3AM, Lily Grace had another seizure. I woke up and heard her moaning, which didn't sound normal, so I went to check on her and felt that she was burning up. We then gave her Tylenol and she just never acted right. After about ten minutes of talking to her, she laid over and began seizing. It was just as scary as the first one but at least we were more prepared with knowing what to do. The ambulance came to pick us up and after a few tests, we found she had an ear infection that caused her to have a high fever which just spiked all of a sudden and brought on the seizure. It had been exactly one year and 16 days since the last one. I thought this one would definitely be the last or at least for a while.

Last night she went to spend the night with Mother after Maw Maw's dinner. She was perfectly fine, happy and playing with no signs of sickness. This morning, Kirsten called us about 7:30 while we were getting ready for church and said Lily Grace had just had a seizure and was on the way to the hospital. I hated I was not there with her but I knew she was in good hands with my parents. They were of course scared to death because they had never seen her have one but they did everything they were supposed to do. Marty and I jumped in the car and headed for Fayette. By the time we got there, they had just got the lab work back to see what might have caused the high fever. They had found that she had the flu. She did have her flu shot back in October but as we have heard, it doesn't seem to be helping with this other type of flu or this many months later. Because she seemed so great yesterday, she was around so many of our family, so just keep us all in your prayers. Pray that Lily Grace will soon be over the flu and not have any more high fevers this week, that we will not catch it and that our family will not get it either. We especially pray that Tucker will not get it because he is too young to take the medicine. Also pray this will be the last seizure that Lily Grace has because it is so scary and can be very dangerous. Because this is her third seizure, that may mean more seizure tests to come. Thank you to all of you that have been calling and thinking of us. We love you all!

Happy Birthday Maw Maw!

Last night the family went out to eat for Maw Maw's birthday at Outback. We had a great time, great food, and great company! Her birthday was actually last Saturday but her knee has been very hurt from a bad fall for the past few weeks. It was so good to see her back to normal and we pray that her knee completely heals soon! We love you Maw Maw and Happy Birthday!

"Get Away Daddy" is what she is saying here!

The grandkids (We could not get Lily Grace to take a decent picture last night!)

A lemon eating contest!!
Houston didn't realise how sour a lemon really was!
Brotherly Love :)
That's how you smile Skyler!

Best Tokyo Meal!

You all know how much our family loves Tokyo! Well, for the first time Lily Grace loved it too! She would usually just eat noodles and be a little fussy but this time was so different. We took some Chik-fil-a for her just in case. She ate almost all of it, plus cucumber salad, noodles, scallops and even sushi!!! She loved it! And we had a first. The sushi chef brought her a flower to eat and she ate it, too! She is definitely my little girl! :)

A Quick Visit

Last Monday we went for a little visit to Berry. I hadn't seen my family in two whole weeks and Lily Grace hadn't seen them in a week, so we were all missing each other very much! We ate dinner together and then just hung out. It was so good to spend sometime with them through the middle of the week instead of the busy weekend. I miss you guys so much!

Tucker loves to sit in his Uncle Marty's arms. This was Lily Grace's favorite place to sit at one time, too!

Lily Grace loves to sit in Grandmommy's lap while she reads to her. They read about 5 different books together every time we are up there.

And we all know she loves glasses!

Lily Grace's hair is getting so long so Grandmommy thought she would try to braid it (not quite long enough yet but it won't be long!) She enjoyed someone playing with her hair though.
Lily Grace was pretending to be a baby and swing in Tucker's swing. She stayed in it for a while, too. I don't remember her ever staying in the swing long when she was a little baby!

SNOW!!

The snow was so beautiful, while it lasted! Lily Grace loved watching it out the window and she thought she wanted to go out there really bad. After the last snowfall came down, we bundled all up and headed out there. She did not like it at all! She wanted me to hold her the whole time and wouldn't even touch it. So we only stayed out in it for a few minutes, for a few pictures. Then it was lunch and nap time. By the time we got up from our naps, all the snow was gone! It was gone as quick as it came!

One wants in, while the other wants out.

It was snowing hard there for a while!

Lily Grace just didn't know what to think about the snow.
Hogan liked playing in it though!

Static!

Lily Grace loves playing hide and go seek. She really likes hiding in the tent or under the blanket. It is funny when she gets under the blanket because she has some serious static!!

Giddy Up!

Lily Grace loves riding the horse at Grandmama and Granddaddy's house. She says, "Giddy Up!!" Then when the horse starts making noise, she stops and says, "Listen" with her finger up to her ear.

Puzzle is Finished!

Each week when we went to visit Granddaddy and Grandmama, Marty and I would work on our 500 piece winter puzzle. There were lots of sky and snow pieces that made the puzzle hard! It took us a while to finish it but we finally did! Funny story though, when we put all 499 pieces together there was one piece missing in the very center!!! We were so upset! But we finally found it where it had fallen in the hole of the hockey table. Thank goodness!

Lily Grace likes warming her hands by the fire.
