Dinner with the Townsends

Last Wednesday night we met the Townsends for dinner at Tokyo of course! They are about to have a new family member added to their family, Emma Bess. Then after the baby is born they will be moving to Tennessee. This makes us so sad! We love spending time with this sweet, sweet family. And Lily Grace LOVES Eleigh Kaye so much. She talks about her all the time. She says her name so cute, too. Eleigh Kaye is about 7 months older than Lily Grace but they have always played so good together. I wish they could always live close to us so the girls could grow up together. Even their new addition and our baby will be close in age! We will miss them so much when they move. We love you Jon, Jenn, Eleigh Kaye and you too Emma Bess!

We are pretty regulars at Tokyo, as you all know. The sushi man (I need to ask him his name) loves Lily Grace. He always comes and talks to her and gives her some type of little present - flower, umbrella, some toy he has made (last time he even showed her a live little octopus!!!) and this time he made the girls little paper things that spun in the air. They had the best time with something so simple!
Lily Grace thought it was hilarious every time Eleigh Kaye threw hers in the air.

Bows, Bows, Bows

Lily Grace has gotten into where she likes to where as many bows as she can get on her head! Funny and very cute!

Shaken Up!

We experienced a first this morning! At about 5:25 am, Marty was about to leave for work and I was laying in the bed when all of a sudden the bed started shaking along with the whole house! We kinda joked about it being an earthquake and guess what? It was!! It was a 3.8 on the Richter scale! It was very weird though. Actually, Daddy said it was not my first earthquake because there was a pretty big one in Berry when I was a baby but this one I will remember. Also there was another one close to Brent in February but we did not feel that one. Very interesting there has been two in the past few months here! Hope you all have a great day!

Weston gave Lily Grace a little Easter basket and with the Strawberry Shortcake movie there was a crown. She has worn that crown like crazy! She even HAD to sleep with it during nap time!

Cleaning up the Yard

The other day, I was outside doing some yard work while Lily Grace was playing. She found all these little white styrofoam balls in the yard where the next door neighbor's dog had torn up one of his toys in OUR yard. Ugh!! Anyway, she worked forever picking those things up. For some reason she really enjoyed it. Then I got to wondering where she was putting them all?? And I found this. The she started riding her little four wheeler and you know how styrofoam is, all the ones she had collected started blowing everywhere. She started running after them and then the wind would blow them away from her. She got soooo mad, as you can see in the last picture. It was kinda funny to us though!

Easter Sunday 2009

This is a very long post with many, many pictures! We had the Happiest Easter ever this year! Now that Lily Grace is a little older and understands more of what is going on, it was a blast! She loved it all - hunting for her baskets first thing when she woke up, helping everyone else find their baskets, coloring the eggs, hunting for eggs, eating the eggs, you name it, she loved it! Marty and I truly enjoyed watching her all day experience it.

Good Morning Sunshine! She already found her basket from Grandmommy and Pop, now she is looking for the one from Mommy and Daddy.
I think she found it!
Yea! She found it!
Her basket from Mommy and Daddy
It may be too early in the morning for these!
Grandmommy still gets Mommy a basket...
and of course Daddy, too! We love Easter goodies!
Happy First Easter, Baby Tucker! We love you!
I think he is really excited about it!
Lily Grace loved coloring the eggs. She didn't understand how to just softly drop the eggs in the cups though. She would chunk them in and cause a big colorful splash!
You made beautiful eggs Lily Grace!

She found some all by herself! She didn't really understand why some eggs had prizes inside and others did not!
She found 25 eggs in all!
Everyone counting their eggs. Levi and Houston found lots of eggs too! Levi found the prize egg with $10 in it!!!

A mouth full of eggs! She found out that all the eggs DID have a prize inside!
What a wonderful Easter. We hope you all had one, too. Love to you all!

A Night out with the Camps

Saturday night we went to Birmingham to meet the Camps for dinner at Chili's. It was so much fun hanging out with them! We miss them so much and wish we could do more with them. Lily Grace really warmed up to them and played with them and put on a show! We can't wait to see them again very soon! We love you guys!
