Aunt Kir Kir's Shower

Two Sundays ago was Aunt Kir Kir's first shower. It was at the Berry Civic Center and so nice! Thank you to all the ladies that helped with the beautiful shower. Kirsten got so many wonderful things that will help when little Tucker gets here!

The Gals

McKenzie and Madelyn were such great babysitters!

Madelyn and I were twins!

Just a few of the great gifts Kirsten got!
We were so glad to see Lawson again! And Lily Grace was especially glad to see him.
She finally got him cornered! HA!
We love you Aunt KirKir and we can't wait to meet Tucker!

Getting Ready with Mommy

Lily Grace loves to sit with me while I get ready. She loves to "put make-up on" and brush her hair. She even likes to "do" my hair. It is so sweet and I truly enjoy spending this time with her. She is my little girly girl.

Football with Friends

Saturday afternoon, Marty and I went to watch the Auburn game with our friends, the Mills Family. Afterwards, we went to our church for tailgating and to watch the Bama game.

Me and Ty-Ty playing a game. He is my little buddy. Isn't he soooo cute?!?!

I just had to try on his Halloween costume!

These are the shirts I bought us at Mule Day that morning.

Aren't they cute?! I hope you can read them because they both have great messages!

My HUGE Alabama fan friend, Heather. I don't hold it against her though, I still love her!

Mule Day 2008

It's a tradition to go to Mule Day every year and we always look forward to it. And it is always lots of fun! The weather was very nice but lots of sunshine. I forgot our sunscreen but luckily we ran into Jennifer and Olivia and they let us borrow theirs. The same thing happened last year! HA! Lily Grace took a good hour nap shortly after we arrived and I got a few very pretty dresses for her. It was lots of fun with Grandmommy, MawMaw, and Aunt KirKir. We look forward to it again next year! War Eagle Girls!!

I really don't know what Lily Grace was doing here! It was funny though.
This picture was taken while we were eating and so funny!! Look at all three of them, they are all doing the same thing!

Berry Homecoming 2008

Two Fridays ago was Berry's Homecoming. We had lots of fun seeing everyone there and Lily Grace enjoyed seeing her friend Lawson. Berry football games are always lots of fun and especially when they win! They are having a great year! Go Berry!!

Lawson and Lily Grace

Watching the Game together

Pop took Lily Grace down to see the Wildcat. She didn't know what to think and I don't think Lawson did either!
Took a little nap through the whole 3rd quarter!

Drawing Pictures

Lily Grace loves to draw pictures! But since she has started drawing on herself and on things around her, I decided to try the Wonder Colors Markers. They are awesome!! She can only write on the paper and she thinks she is so big with markers. I love them! They even keep her occupied during church! We have lots of pretty pictures drawn by Lily Grace now, how sweet! 9/26/08

Catching Up

Sorry it has been so long since I have posted. There are lots of posts to catch up on! We have been so busy and too tired to get on here. I hope you enjoy catching up with us.

I haven't posted in a while all the new things Lily Grace does. Everyday she is doing new things. The biggest thing is she is talking up a storm! Just about everything you say, she can say also, or at least close to it. It is hard to list all the words but there are about 5 new words a day. Like yesterday she said tree, sky, onkey (for monkey), bear and school. And get this, she is saying sentences! This all started about two weeks ago. She can say "I get down" or "I want bite" or "I want cookie" or "I want ______" and will say whatever she is wanting. It is helping a lot more! Today she was saying, "Oooo, it hot" to my hair straightener while waving her hands back and forth. Then later she picked up two rocks that were sitting in the sun and said the same thing. I picked them up and they were really hot! So she understood what that meant. She is also saying more names like "MaMa" for Madilyn, Braiden (or close to it), KirKir, Unc (for Uncle Skyler), Mykah (friend at school), and others. Yesterday at MDO there was a little girl putting on her shoes and Lily Grace went up to her and clapped her hands while saying "good girl, good girl". When she wants you to read a book, she will bring the book to you and say "read". There are so many other words she says and objects she recognizes like key, shoes, bath, eat, baby. I wish I would have done better at posting these words.

Lily Grace also knows where yours and her eyes, nose, teeth, tongue, ears, hair, belly button, and feet are. She can say eye, teeth, nose, and feet. She can also now shake her head yes and no. And when you tell her to wash or comb her hair, she pretends to do so.

She is now interacting with the television now. I don't know if this is a good thing. For example Moose A. Moose and Zee were doing a dance and she got up and did the whole thing! It said to jump and she jumped, then clap and she did, and then turn around and she did!! Now she does the dance all the time! It is so cute! It is good to know though that she is getting something out of Yo Gabba Gabba now! She actually follows the directions! She laughs at them and talks to them, too.

She is also giving kissing with puckered lips instead of mouth opened now. And you don't have to ask for one anymore. She will just give them to you out of the blue. I am really loving this!! She is also going through a squealing phase. She squeals out really loud, and I mean really LOUD! I ignore her and by about the 4th squeal she will stop because she realizes she is not getting any attention. This seems to work and that is what the books say to do but others around us seem to think differently. The stares and some comments we get are awful! I don't know what to do about this situation!

She is getting so big! She is not my little baby anymore. It makes me so sad. She is wearing 2T and looks so tall! I guess there wasn't a big chance of her being short though. :) She has her 4 back molars now, which have caused a lot of sleepless nights! She is growing and changing so fast it is unbelievable. She is still a little stinker but she is our little stinker. Maybe this post and the following few will help catch up on some of the new things going on with her!

Wearing Daddy's Boots

Lily Grace loves to go into the closet and bring me my shoes for her to put on. It is so funny. She will bring one at a time and she seems to always bring the match! This is the first time she has brought me Marty's shoes! And she brought the biggest one's! They almost cover up her entire leg! She also loves carrying my purses around the house on her shoulder. It is precious. And she even likes to pretend to put on make-up. We might have a little fashion queen on our hands!

Taking a Ride with Mommy

After Daddy mowed the yards Monday afternoon, we decided to take a ride. Lily Grace did not want to get off! She loved it! She thought she was so big "driving". She also loves "driving" up and down the drive way in the car. She knows what to do!

Yum Pizza!

I have been meaning to post some pictures of her eating pizza! These were too cute not to post. She loves some pizza which is great with us because we love to eat it too. Lily Grace actually loves just about anything you give her to eat now a days! She is definitely not missing any meals!

You Wrote Where?!?!

Mother and I took Lily Grace with us to an auction this past Sunday afternoon. Lily Grace loves to color and draw. She has done so good about drawing only on paper. Well, I looked away for 3 seconds and when I looked back, this is what she had done! Wrote all over her leg!

Showing Pop what she had done, he thought it was funny!

And so did Lily Grace!

Playing ball with Pop

Taking a walk with Pop

Ooooo, Kitty cat!

Looks like they are having a deep conversation! And yes, Pop has her passy clipped on his shirt!
Is she doing the Macarena?!
She running for a touch down!
This is something new. If she sees something she is really interested in, this is what she does and makes a little squeal.
The girl loves any kind of ball!

Pretty Girl
She loves her Uncle Skye
Making a pass to Pop
Her hair is really starting to get long!

What a fun afternoon at Grandmommy and Pop's house!
