Last Week in Berry

Last week, I had the joy of staying in Berry to help out with Tucker because Mother and Daddy took a special trip to Hawaii. We had lots of fun spending time with Tucker, Aunt Kirsten and Maw Maw and Granddaddy. Skyler was gone to church camp so we didn't get to see him :( We spent a lot of time at Maw Maw's house, went out to eat with them a lot, and went to Winfield for shopping one day. It was really nice being there but we missed Grandmommy and Pop and Uncle Skyler!! I didn't take any pictures the whole week until the last day! These are from Friday. Lily Grace and I got up and headed for Fayette. We went to the park to play and the splash pad. It is sooooo nice there but it was a flop! Lily Grace ended up wanted to be all over me and not play too much. Hopefully Marty and I can take her back soon on a Saturday.

She did enjoy swinging though!
This is how it was most of the time. She cried for me, wanting me to hold her the whole time. And it was so hot!!
Here is the new addition they added to the park (I think last year). It is so nice! I love the Fayette park with even the old play things, the nice walking paths through the woods and around the pond, and the new splash pad!!
We put on the bathing suit to try out the splash pad.
She didn't know what to think about it though.
It looks like so much fun! She never would run under the water and if I had on a bathing suit, I would have went with her. Hopefully soon we can do that!
We went to meet Aunt Kirsten and Tucker for lunch at Tuggies.

She likes it so much she started drinking it, UGH!!
And she wouldn't eat ANYTHING but the ranch!
I love going to Berry to get vegetables and fruit from Daddy and Granddaddy. Before I left the house I went out to pick some squash from Daddy's garden. Look how big this one is!!!!! So good!

Happy Birthday Chloe!

Saturday morning was Chloe's birthday party. We couldn't make it because of setting up the wedding cake and getting ready for the wedding. So after the wedding we stopped by her house to play for a little bit. Chloe is the daughter of one of Marty's friends, Jarrod. Chloe is about one month younger than Lily Grace. They play so good together! They had so much fun! Hope you had a great birthday, Chloe!!



 

The Gurley Wedding

Saturday was the big day for Michael and Angela. It was a beautiful ceremony and the reception was just perfect! We are so happy for these two and wish them many, many years of happiness together! We love y'all!

Mother did a fabulous job on the cake! And it was delicious!!! She had extra icing, so we made another big cake just for us. YUM!

Gurley Rehearsal Dinner

This past Friday night, we went to Michael and Angela's Rehearsal and Dinner. It was so nice! We had a really great time visiting with everyone. The food was great! Baumhower's Wings catered it! Yum! Mother was at our house decorating the wedding cake, so Lily Grace stayed home with her. Thanks Mother for doing that! It was a great night and we were looking forward to the big day!!

Gurley is one of Marty's closest friends. They have been friends since they were little boys and also lived down the road from one another. So they spent a whole lot of time together. It is always fun sitting around with them and listening to all their stories from the past.

We were so happy Crocker and Julie made it in from Texas!! Crocker is Marty's first cousin.

Yesterday in Berry

Monday night Grandmommy kept Lily Grace and Tucker so we could go to RAW. So I went and spent the night in Berry. Yesterday morning it was so nice outside so I took the kids outside. We just love Mother's new patio out back and probably spend a lot more time out there now because of it. Here are a couple pictures of Tucker. Lily Grace did not want her picture taken :(

Before we went home, we met Grandmommy for lunch at of course the Mexican Restaurant in Fayette. Like Marty says, we think it is the only place to eat in Fayette, ha! Like Tokyo in Tuscaloosa!! I was so proud of Lily Grace because she was such a good girl there. Restaurants have been very difficult here lately for us and we are pretty much giving them up for a while until she can do better.

 

WWE Monday Night RAW

If you were not aware, Marty and I are huge wrestling fans. Usually people are very shocked when they find this out. We have never missed a Monday night show since almost 5 years ago. We went three years ago when they came to Birmingham and we were so excited they came back. I absolutely love going to concerts but there is no other show like this one. It is awesome entertainment live! Last time we had great seats and got on tv maybe once or twice. This time we were directly behind the ring and were on the tv a whole bunch! It was so much fun! RAW was live of course but before the show and after, they taped for another show that will come on Thursday night - Superstars. So we will get to be on it, too! Kirsten and Skyler went with us. Also, our friend Doug went with us and he got Marty and me tickets to the big pay-per view event in January, Royal Rumble. It will be in Atlanta. We are so excited and cannot wait!!

I was so happy we did not chose the first seats we were going to order. We would have been down on the floor but we would have gotten covered in this slop that was part of a skit. I felt so sorry for all those people sitting down there. YUCK!!!

Jericho - We were so excited to see him because he is on Smackdown and not RAW
Jeff Hardy - We were also excited to see him since he is from Smackdown. They were good surprises!
John Cena again- This is Kirsten's favorite. I was so sad mine was not there :( Hopefully I will get to see HBK in January though!
