Our Little Cheerleader

This past Friday night was Berry's Homecoming and Lily Grace got to be a mascot for one of the Berry Varsity Cheerleaders. Some of us were really worried she wouldn't even go out of the field but she did great!!! She stayed out there the whole time, cheered, did a jump when they called her name over the intercom, and even went to the victory line with the cheerleaders and cheered the whole time. We were so proud of her. She didn't want to come off the field. It was a lot of fun watching her. Here are some pictures from the night.

Getting ready for the game
We decided on the skirt :) Doesn't she look cute?
Lily Grace loves the Wildcat this year. That is the first thing she wants to do when we go to the games. Last year she was really freaked out by him but this year she even let him hold her for a little while!!! This is Taylor, Lily Grace's cheerleader she cheered with.

Houston was the Wildcat's mascot.
She liked grabbing the Wildcats tail. When they went to the victory line she chased the Wildcat's tail for longest time. It was too funny.
Waving to the crowd
She liked the pom-poms
Doing her jump when they called her name out.
Go Cats!! Here she is on the victory line. She did so good cheering with the cheerleaders.
Dancing to the band
Lily Grace must get her chips and cheese. Even though, she doesn't eat a whole lot of the chips :)

Baby Cooper Update - Week 37

Looks like we will have an October baby after all. I went for my check up this afternoon and left sort of disappointed. I was still 3 cm dilated so the doctor said the same thing, "See you next week, if not before!" Actually the first thing he said when he walked in my room was he was very surprised to see me because he honestly thought I would have already had him by now. (I thought so too with the amount of pressure I have been experiencing!) So my next appointment is next Thursday and we will see if anything has progressed then. Basically Cooper is just sitting in there fattening up. Which is fine with me! I love a fat baby, ha! We did go ahead and schedule a date to induce on October 14th. So we will definitely have Cooper by two weeks no matter what! I am not crazy about induction, but it is only 6 days early and there is a huge possibility Cooper will come before that date. We did this with Lily Grace as well. We set the date for one week early and she ended up coming on her own that morning. I pray something like that happens with Cooper, too because it makes me feel better knowing it was definitely time for him to come. I will continue to keep you updated and thank you all for thinking and praying for us. We love you all!

Baby Cooper Update

This past Tuesday I went to the doctor for my 36 week checkup. I was hoping the doctor would tell me something interesting but I figured he would just say "see you next week". Well I was surprised when he made a funny face and said "Uh, Cooper's head is right there and you are already 3 cm dilated! This is amazing because this rarely happens at 36 weeks." Then he said, "I will see you next week at your next appointment if not before. It possibly could be any day now." I knew something was going on with the amount of pressure I have been having. But you never know, Cooper may hold on for a few more weeks. I have heard of lots of women staying at 3 and 4 cm dilated for weeks. So, I guess we will see when I go back for my next checkup on Wednesday. Unless of course he comes earlier :) But we are packed and ready! I had not done hardly anything to prepare for the arrival of our new baby but when I got this news - trust me, we were pretty much all ready the next day! Now we are patiently waiting for our little man. Please pray for a safe delivery and healthy baby. I will keep you all updated when I get the next report. Love you to all!

Berry Baby Shower

Today was Cooper's baby shower in Berry. Holley was so sweet to have the shower at her home. All the hostesses were so wonderful to help and give us a beautiful shower. Thank you all so much! We got some many great things for our little man that will be here very soon.

I can't believe I forgot my camera charger! So I only had these very few pictures from the shower because my camera went dead at the beginning gift opening time! Usually I have two backup cameras and I forgot those, too! There were others at the shower that took pictures so I hope they share with me :)

I told Lily Grace this was a party for Cooper and he needed her to open his gifts. She was excited about that.

Look at those cute little socks!

Lily Grace and Madelyn.

Some of the girl cousins in the Deavours family. We were excited to see the twins for a little bit!

Handsome Tucker was there, too.

Reading books with Madelyn and Macy.

Thanks to everyone for being apart of this special time in our lives. We love you all so much!

Apples for Stormy

Friday night we went to visit Grandmama and Granddaddy. Before we went down there, we went in our backyard to pick some apples for Stormy. Or as Lily Grace calls them "bapples". I don't know where the "b" came from. She thought this was neat picking apples off of "her apple tree".

She had to get some high up in the tree. What better way than on Daddy's shoulders?

Stormy loved eating the apples and Lily Grace loved feeding him. The pictures just doesn't show the whole story. It was fun to watch.
She rolled the apples under the fence and then watch Stormy eat them.
Sometimes she would get very, very close to Stormy's mouth!
Feeding Stormy with Granddaddy. He got a little scared when she got too close. It was funny watching him. He turned duties over to Grandmama :)

Blowing Bubbles

Wednesday morning we went out to play. We did lots of different things because it felt so nice outside. We blew bubbles, wrote on the sidewalk with chalk, ran around and played with Hogan and got in the kiddy pool. Bubbles were the most fun though I think. She usually has a hard time blowing bubbles but with this pipe looking thing, she could blow some really big ones. She loved it!

Baby Update

Tuesday I had my 34 weeks check-up. It was a quick visit because not much to do at this time. Everything looked good and the heartbeat was 145. And I have gained a whopping 20 pounds! Already 7 more than I gained with Lily Grace. It has been so nice to be able to eat this pregnancy though.
Lily Grace went with me and was so sweet. She seemed to enjoy this visit much more than usual. She loved hearing Cooper's heartbeat. It was precious seeing her eyes light up. Because she was so good, the nurse got her suckers. She kept saying, "This one's Mommy's and this one's Daddy's and they are good!" Then she would lick her lips and make a funny slurping noise.

Mommy and Daddy's Weekend

The past weekend, Marty and I got to go to the beach for a few days. It was wonderful! We had such a good time getting away for our "Babymoon" before Cooper comes. We missed Lily Grace so much but it was great to spend some time alone. The weather was perfect and we relaxed a whole lot. Oh and of course, we ate a lot! I have an excuse- I'm eating for two! :)

I was craving a warm brownie, with ice cream, hot fudge and caramel. So we finally found somewhere that had exactly that. The guy that made them thought it was funny to give me an EXTRA large one! No, they are not usually this big but I guess he thought I needed it since I was pregnant. And I did NOT eat all of this, I promise! It was huge and delicious!

I love you Baby!! I had a wonderful time and look forward to another trip with you one day in the future! Thank you for all you do and a great trip. I love you!

Lily Grace's Weekend

Last weekend Marty and I took a little trip to the beach so Lily Grace spent the weekend in Berry. They didn't take many pictures but here are a few. She seemed to have had a great time. There is plenty going on at Grandmommy and Pop's to keep her entertained. They said her and Tucker had a blast together. I know I missed her a lot more than she missed me. I talked to her a couple of times everyday and she sounded so grown up on the phone. I can't get over how big she is getting. Thank you all up there in Berry for letting Lily Grace stay with you for a few days! We love you all!

Happy Anniversary Maw Maw and Granddaddy!
Friday night they went out for dinner to celebrate.
They said Lily Grace and Tucker were the best kids and had so much fun. But these pictures are so funny to me because neither one of them looked like they were having a great time. Guess they couldn't get them to smile for the picture :)

We all know how much Lily Grace loves animals. This is one animal that loves her, too. Hazel seems to be just as crazy about Lily Grace as she is about the cat!
What an outfit! Grandmommy got her these princess high heels and it is hilarious watching her try to walk in them!

Go Uncle Skyler!

A couple of Fridays ago was Uncle Skyler's first game. They won BIG! Uncle Skyler is a starting linebacker. He did such a great job! We can't wait to go watch him play again. Lily Grace dressed in her new cheer outfit I appliqued for her. She looked too cute. Every time the crowd would clap and cheer, Lily Grace would yell "GO Sky-er!!" She was so excited to watch him but wanted to go out and play football with him on the field :)

Lily Grace loved the Victory Line. She liked watching the cheerleaders and band play. She got to stand by Houston down there.
Back at Grandmommy and Pop's house after the game doing a little cheer (with her frog, ha).
