Happy Fourth of July!

The Fourth was a lot of fun this year! We started our day off with the James family down at Grandmama and Granddaddy's house. We had a delicious lunch and had a great time seeing everyone there! We were so excited Uncle Grady could come eat with us!
We have a lot more little ones in the family but these are the ones that made it this year. We had a newborn (Coleman), one year old (Lily Grace), two year old (Micah) and three year old (Hal)! Aren't they precious?
After lunch we headed up to Berry for an afternoon lunch with my family. Pop grilled a feast and Grandmommy cooked tons of sides and desserts of course! We would have lots to eat for a few days since there were only 6 of us, which was fine with us!
After we ate, we left for Columbus to watch the big fireworks show. We parked and walked out to where we were planning on sitting until all of a sudden a down pour came! We got very wet running back to the car!!

We got dried off and found a seat to listen to the music and wait on the show.

I love fireworks and I look forward to it every year! But this year was different because I enjoyed watching Lily Grace's face as she watched the show. She kept squealing and smiling so big and pointing at them. She loved it!!
The firework show was really good but not near as good as it used to be. We haven't been back in about 9 years and it has changed a lot since then. They moved it from the Columbus Air Force base to the Stennis Lock and Dam and they don't do the show to patriotic music anymore. It also only lasts for about 20 - 30 minutes when the old show lasted for about an hour. Even though it was different, we still saw beautiful fireworks and had lots of fun together!

    we had a GREAT time seeing you guys on the fourth. can't wait to get with you guys again.
